What payment options do you accept?
We accept, cash, check, Paypal or Venmo. We also accept payments through Square.
Are your services covered by insurance?
We are not covered by insurance, but we offer different payment options including installments and sliding scale arrangements.
We are different from hospice in a number of ways, but view our services as complimentary and supportive of the goals hospice strives for.
Hospice has a cap on the hours they can dedicate to patients due to governance and regulations instilled by the healthcare industry and insurance constraints. One of the primary objectives for hospice is to provide pain management and nursing support to aid the patient in the dying process. Deathcare workers and doulas are not medical professionals,instead fill in the gaps by providing care services without time constraints, addressing emotional, spiritual and logistical challenges of the dying process.
Are Angelic Hearts of Light the same as Hospice?
I have completed the End-of-Life Doula trainings at INELDA (www.inelda.org) and a doula business training at Going With Grace. I am also employed at INELDA as an Educator Assistant. I am also a companion volunteer for Brighton Hospice.
